The MIT Libraries is pleased to announce access to the latest collection in the Synthesis Digital Library of Engineering and Computer Science. The Synthesis eBooks, or “lectures,” are 50-200-page overviews of cutting-edge topics in electrical engineering, computer science, and related disciplines. They serve as great introductions and reviews: ideal for catching up or starting out in a new area. Several MIT faculty are Synthesis authors. New titles include:

In addition to technical topics, some titles address the practice of engineering, such as Crafting Your Research Future: A Guide to Successful Master’s and Ph.D. Degrees in Science & Engineering.

Forthcoming titles will address topics such as antennas, quantum computing, and human-centered informatics.

Get access to Synthesis through the Libraries with this shortcut url: libraries.mit.edu/get/synthesis. Send any questions to Phoebe Ayers, EECS librarian.
